This vandal-resistant outdoor bullet IP camera from Hanwha Vision captures video in 4MP resolution at full frame rate and provides round-the-clock monitoring thanks to the integrated IR-cut filter – enhanced by the built-in IR LEDs. Wisenet Viewer application enables remote access to the camera and its video footage from a mobile device. This unit also features compression optimisation via Wisestream II, edge storage and power and network via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
A motorised varifocal lens allows users to remotely adjust the camera’s view between 30.8° and 98.6° - providing more flexibility to meet users’ requirements. The unit is encased in protective housing that is IP66 weather and IK10 vandal-resistant – ideal for exposed areas prone to inclement weather and tampering. Moreover, this unit can capture clear footage in dark conditions using IR illuminators with up to 30m range of reach.
Image quality is optimised thanks to onboard imaging technologies such as WDR, privacy masking and hallway view. WDR enhances video captured in high contrast conditions by balancing light and dark areas, helping maximise detail in the scene. Privacy masking conceals private or irrelevant areas of the scene or individuals that are not permitted to be recorded – allowing users to focus on the area of interest. Additionally, Hallway view rotates the video stream by 90° to optimise coverage of narrow areas and help reduce bandwidth.
The Hanwha Vision QNO-7082R comes with a range of analytics to enhance scene awareness, including configurable motion detection alarms that can be set to trigger email notifications or recording to the onboard SD card (not included). Furthermore, alarm signalling can be enhanced with the connection of external devices via the camera’s I/O ports.
To aid video management, edge storage is available via the built-in MicroSD card slot (card not included), providing a handy backup in case of network failure, as well as enabling the camera to work as a standalone system. For smaller installations, Hanwha Vision’s free Wisenet Viewer application provides basic video management, however, for more advanced setups, software such as Wisenet WAVE and Milestone XProtect are available.
For straightforward installation, this unit provides both network and power over one cable using PoE – reducing the number of wires required and minimising installation time. Furthermore, Wisestream II compression technology optimises bandwidth when used with the H.265 codec, enabling storage and bandwidth savings of up to 75% compared to H.264 video compression alone.
