16 channel QNAP VS-4116U-RP PRO+ network video recorder (NVR) from the QNAP VioStor series, with 4 x HDD for up to 16TB storage. Additional features include Linux operating system, Intel dual-core processor, 250 Mbps throughput and remote viewing via VMobile app.
The QNAP VS-4116U-RP PRO+ network video recorder enables up to 16 IP cameras to be recorded and the 4 HDD slots provide up to 16TB of storage with RAID capabilities. The powerful Intel dual-core processor and 4GB RAM enable 250 Mbps throughput for the stable recording of high frame rate and multi megapixel network cameras, and the unit is Linux-embedded so is at reduced risk of viruses and system crash. The QNAP VS-4116U-RP provides rack mountable installation, ideal for expanding existing recording systems and also providing neat, convenient installation.
Recording can be controlled by the smart recording feature, which maintains low quality recording until activity is detected, then frame rate and quality increases to ensure events are captured in detail for identification and analysis. Recording can also be set to continuous or manual modes, and also on alarm trigger and user-defined modes, providing a recording system that can be tailored to suit the application. Users are alerted to an event via on screen popup, which provides more information on the event when clicked. Areas can be viewed in closer detail and monitored effectively using digital PTZ, auto cruising and preset positioning.
Additional features of the QNAP VioStor VS-4116U-RP include HDMI local display output, e-map capability, multi-stream support, two-way audio and intelligent video search. Users can access video recordings remotely via mobile devices using the QNAP VMobile app.
