Part of the Bosch FLEXIDOME IP 3000i range, this outdoor turret IP camera captures up to 5MP resolution video at 25 fps (model dependent). It features integrated IR LEDs that help to enhance night vision at a distance of up to 15m, while advanced imaging technologies help to produce clear images even in challenging lighting conditions. Other handy features include Bosch’s Essential Video Analytics, Power over Ethernet (PoE) support and remote access via the free Bosch Video Security mobile application.

Camera
Resolutions up to 5MP are supported in this range and various fixed lenses offer fixed viewing angles of up to 132° (select model in the dropdown menu). Built-in IR LEDs help to enhance true day/night recording with a range of reach of up to 15m to provide a reliable 24-hour recording solution. The unit’s flat-faced design also helps to suppress IR reflections. In addition, two-way audio can be achieved by connecting external devices via the built-in audio I/O ports.
Imaging
Using a range of advanced imaging technologies, the camera can capture clear video footage in challenging lighting conditions. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology enables details in scenes with both bright and dark areas to be viewed clearly. Bosch’s Intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction (IDNR) technology is also included and helps to deliver clearer images in lowlight conditions. Additionally, intelligent defog helps to improve visibility when conditions such as fog, smoke and haze are detected.
Video analytics
Bosch’s Essential Video Analytics is an i-LIDS-approved, edge-based technology that offers a comprehensive range of configurable alarms to help provide dynamic and accurate surveillance. It offers a total of 14 rules and a maximum of 8 rules can be processed simultaneously. Detailed metadata is recorded at the point of capture, allowing users to quickly and easily retrieve specific footage from hours of stored video. Furthermore, by running this advanced technology at the edge, all processing is done without putting any load on the network or central resources.
Video management
Edge storage is included, and recordings can be written to the onboard MicroSD card (sold separately) - providing a helpful backup of data if the network fails. Bosch also offers a range of viewing options including the supplied Bosch Video PC client, browser-based access and the free Video Security mobile app. Users can also integrate the camera with high-performance third-party VMS such as Milestone XProtect.
Installation
This attractively priced unit is housed in an IP66 and IK10-rated casing to enable reliable outdoor use. PoE support also simplifies the installation process by providing power and network connectivity over a single cable.
