Designed for discreet outdoor installation, the compact Axis M4317-PLVE measures just 149 mm in diameter allowing it to be deployed in even the smallest of spaces. This small, yet powerful camera delivers hemispheric overviews in 6MP, 24 hours a day. The unit’s true day/night recording is enhanced with integrated OptimisedIR LEDs, illuminating up to 20m around the camera. Bandwidth is intelligently optimised using Axis’ Zipstream technology, lowering storage requirements by an average of 50% without compromising important forensic data. Built on Axis’ most advanced chipset to date, ARTPEC-8, the M4317-PLVE features highly accurate deep learning analytics, advanced cybersecurity and intuitive metadata search capabilities. Suitable for use in for example petrol stations, car parks and outdoor shopping centres.
Offering crisp 6MP imaging at up to 60 frames per second, this camera is ideal for use in larger open areas that require reliable monitoring. Equipped with a stereographic lens and Sharpdome 360 technology, the camera delivers clear 180° or 360° views with complete sharpness to the very edges of the image. With low-light performance at the forefront, this camera includes advanced imaging technologies such as Forensic WDR and Lightfinder, enabling full-colour and high-resolution footage in areas of high contrast and low light. Additionally, the M4317-PLVE supports dewarped views such as panorama, quad, corner, and corridor, as well as digital PTZ capabilities, making it easier to view areas in greater detail.
Axis’ multifeatured and insightful edge-based Object Analytics comes pre-installed, using AI-based algorithms to analyse spatial behaviour and provide reliable object detection that filters out unwanted alerts. Completely customisable, you can configure it to detect what you want, when you want, with up to ten simultaneous detection scenarios including line crossing, object in area and more. Benefittnig from the latest Axis ARTPEC-8 chipset, this camera delivers analytics at its best.

Powered by PoE and encased in an IP66 and IK10-rated housing, this robust camera is designed for easy and versatile integration. Remote setup is possible thanks to the built-in installation aids such as digital roll, pixel counter and level grid. The camera also features integrated I/O ports and support for audio connection via Portcast to enhance alarm signalling or to enable audio recording and communication.
