Part of the advanced Axis Q60 series, this indoor PTZ delivers smooth HD 720p resolution at up to 50 frames per second. An ideal solution for monitoring busy locations 24 hours a day, users can also examine regions of interest in detail using the unit's full pan/tilt functionality and 30x optical zoom. Additional features include support for Power-over-Ethernet Plus (PoE+) and a range of advanced imaging technologies for clear image capture - in any lighting condition.
Variable pan/tilt movements (including 360° pan), alongside powerful 30x optical zooming, allow users to quickly and precisely navigate across large locations - ideal when closely monitoring a person or incident. To enhance scene awareness, the unit also supports Autotracking 2 with click-and-track functionality. Additionally, the handy orientation aid enables dynamic text overlays and a compass symbol for quick orientation when using multiple monitors.
The inclusion of Axis' 7th generation ARTPEC chip enables further improvement of Axis' advanced imaging technologies - allowing the camera to deliver clear video in complex lighting conditions. Wide dynamic range (WDR) technology ensures the capture of details in high-contrast scenes, whilst Axis' advanced Lightfinder 2.0 technology supports the capture of full-colour images - even in extreme levels of low light.
Video motion detection alarms can be configured to alert users of activity in pre-defined areas. When used in conjunction with Axis' Active Gatekeeper, these alarms can also pan the camera to a preset position when motion is detected and then automatically track the object - ensuring all movement is captured. Users can also take advantage of the ability to listen to activity happening close to the camera when a microphone (not included) is connected through the integrated I/O ports.
With support for High Power-over-Ethernet (PoE+), the camera is supplied with both power and network connectivity via a single cable – simplifying installation. Axis’ Zipstream technology helps to lower bandwidth and storage levels by an average of up to 50%. It optimises the video stream in real-time, allowing important details to be retained while unnecessary data is removed. Additionally, this model includes a range of handy features to assist in the prevention of unauthorised access. Signed firmware and secure boot also help to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the camera's firmware.
