Overview of the Hikvision DS-2DE4220IW-DE
This Hikvision PTZ dome is capable of capturing 2 megapixel video at 25 frames per second (fps), complete with true day/night recording and up to 100m of infrared night vision. The outdoor-ready unit offers full pan/tilt functionality and a 20x optical zoom for detailed examination of outdoor locations. Additional features include edge storage and Power-over-Ethernet Plus (PoE+).
A handful of imaging technologies are also included, such as wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D noise reduction to help improve the quality of images captured in difficult lighting conditions. A range of video motion detection alarms can be configured to alert users of possible incidents in real-time via notifications such as email. These alarms can also be set to trigger MicroSD card (not included) recording - ensuring all motion is captured. Additionally, a microphone and speaker (not included) can be connected through the integrated audio I/O ports to enable audio recording and verbal interaction through the camera.
