Part of i-PRO’s intelligent S series, the S65340-Z4N outdoor PTZ camera is available in black or white (please select from the dropdown menu above) and delivers smooth HD 1080p resolution video at up to 60 fps – making it ideal for use in areas prone to high traffic. Equipped with AI Video Motion Detection (AI-VMD). This intelligent feature allows the camera to differentiate between vehicles, bikes and people, notifying users via email of pre-defined activity such as intrusion, loitering and line crossing (including direction of travel). This ensures users are aware of activity, even if the camera is not being directly monitored.

Camera

For highly responsive scene navigation, this camera features full pan/tilt functionality (360° pan and -15 - +195° tilt). It is built with a durable pan/tilt gear mechanism to withstand high-speed and high-frequency camera movement. The impressive 40x optical zoom enables real-time, close-up investigation into specific areas of interest within the scene – ensuring key details are not missed. To enhance the PTZ capabilities, this camera also features AI-auto-tracking, a handy feature that detects objects, automatically zooms in, and follows them around the surveillance area. 24-hour capture is possible with true day/night recording and this is enhanced by full-colour night vision in light levels as low as 0.015 lux, increasing the level of detail that can be seen in dark conditions and improving the accuracy of object detection.

Imaging

To function effectively in challenging conditions, the camera has a range of built-in imaging technologies such as Super Dynamic WDR, Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) and Intelligent Auto. Super Dynamic is designed to improve video capture in over and under-exposed conditions by compensating for particularly dark or bright areas of the scene, making sure that the video is clear and details can be seen. DNR is included to improve the clarity of footage in challenging lighting, reducing graininess and artefacts that could obscure the video. Furthermore, Intelligent Auto adjusts key camera settings based on changing scene dynamics and motion levels, reducing distortion and enhancing object capture and detection.

Video analytics

Designed to provide dynamic scene awareness across a wide area, this PTZ camera features an array of analytics in addition to AI-VMD that enhance object recognition and give a greater insight into the surveillance area. AI Occupancy Detection is ideal for use in retail or transport applications and collects occupancy data, alerting users if an area becomes over-occupied (according to pre-determined parameters), allowing immediate action to be taken to ensure the safety of individuals in the monitoring area. Integrated alarm and audio I/O ports allow users to connect external devices that can help enhance alarm signalling or enable features such as audio recording or communication.

Video management

Managing video on this device is straightforward, users can download the i-PRO video insight application for remote access and simple management options, if a more sophisticated VMS is required for larger or more mission-critical installations, the camera can be easily added to a new or existing Milestone XProtect setup. To provide a helpful backup of data in the event of network failure, the camera can write recordings directly to an SD card (card not included), allowing the unit to work as a standalone unit in a single-camera installation.

Installation

The camera’s outdoor-ready housing is IP66 and IK10-rated to protect it from harsh weather and vandalism attempts and along with wind resistance up to 40 m/s, the camera is suitable for deployment in exposed areas. I-PRO’s ClearSight coating improves visibility by keeping the lens free from dirt and water stains. Moreover, installation is simplified with power-over-Ethernet Plus (PoE+) support, providing high-capacity power and network connection over a single cable for reduced overall equipment and installation costs.
