The Mobotix D24M-IT-Night is an indoor or outdoor network camera with a black and white sensor which is highly sensitive for low light conditions. The camera has the ability to work independently as a complete surveillance unit with an integrated DVR (Digital Video Recorder) that records footage to an on-board MicroSD card (4GB MicroSD card included). Replacement for the Mobotix D22M-IT-Night the D24M-IT-Night has a faster processing for increased video frame rate.
Mobotix cameras are designed around a decentralised system where all processing is done in the camera instead of continuous footage being streamed to a central location for processing. With each camera working independently, surveillance systems are more robust and reliable.
The Mobotix D24M-IT-Night requires no additional software purchases as free software is available from Mobotix and the camera can record to Windows, Mac and Linux file servers without any additional software. Like all IP cameras available from Network Webcams, the Mobotix D24M-IT-Night IP security camera has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam. Mobotix cameras can also be used with Macintosh operating systems.
