Part of the Axis S22 series, this advanced surveillance appliance features an integrated 12-port Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch and 1 x 6TB of storage. Preloaded with all the necessary software, including Axis Camera Station 5, the device is also preconfigured to help reduce set-up time. It’s also fully compatible with all Axis network cameras and a range of third-party IP devices and, when combined with display monitors, it forms an ideal ‘all-in-one’ recording solution for small to medium business applications.

This versatile terminal supports the connection of up to two monitors via the built-in display port and HDMI output and can display a single 4K resolution image or 4 x 1080p split in live or playback modes (with the use of a 4K resolution monitor). Users also can display a 4 x 1080p split view during playback and when a lower resolution is selected in live view, up to 12 split views can be displayed. In addition, the user-friendly device is capable of recording high-quality video at up to 192Mbit per second.

To help facilitate quick installation and set up, the unit features an integrated 12-port PoE switch and is supplied with twelve Axis Camera Station core device licences. ACS 5 is pre-loaded and offers an intuitive user interface that provides all the necessary features required for reliable CCTV monitoring. Site map functionality provides users with a full visual overview of the system and responsive pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) controls allow simplified navigation throughout the camera channels. Additionally, the straightforward configuration and management of camera-based video detection alarms help to ensure high levels of dynamic scene awareness. The software’s visual timeline and video search functions assist in the quick investigation and retrieval of evidence. This data can then be exported manually or at scheduled times to offer the user flexibility when managing their data.
