Overview of the Hanwha Vision QND-6011

This dome IP camera delivers 2 megapixel resolution video at full frame rate, complete with true day/night recording. Part of the 'Q' series from Hanwha Vision, the compact unit is also IK10-rated - making it ideal for unobtrusive surveillance in exposed indoor areas. It can be easily installed via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and supports the free Wisenet Viewer 36-channel software, as well as remote access via mobile devices.

The camera features a fixed lens which offers a horizontal viewing angle of 113°, enabling a wide area of the scene to be captured. Wide dynamic range (WDR) technology renders details even in strongly backlit scenes, ensuring objects and individuals can be identified clearly. Hallway viewing mode is also supported and digitally rotates the video stream, allowing the field of view to be optimised for monitoring narrow areas.

Various video motion detection alarms can be configured to alert users of possible incidents in real-time. These alarms can also be set to trigger microSD card recording and inform users of activity via email notification. In addition, enhanced video analytics such as people counting and defocus detection are also available, which help to increase scene awareness and deliver reliable security monitoring.

With support for PoE, this camera is able to receive power and network connectivity over a single cable for cost-effective installation. WiseStreamII technology analyses and optimises the video stream in real-time, recording important details in high quality, whilst filtering out other areas to help reduce bandwidth and storage use.
