This compact dome IP camera by Axis is specifically designed for use in transportation, such as in buses, trains and ambulances, and provides HD 1080p resolution at full frame rate (or HD 720p at 45fps). Housed in a robust, vandal-resistant IP67 and IK10-rated casing, the unit can be supplied with either a male RJ-45 or rugged M12 connector. It also features Forensic WDR and Lightfinder technologies to capture high-quality footage in challenging lighting conditions.

Camera

With a fixed lens that offers a 110° viewing angle, the Axis P3925-R is capable of recording HD 1080p resolution video at up to 25fps and complies with all relevant transportation-industry regulations. This allows it to withstand difficult conditions such as vibrations, shock and inconsistent temperatures.

Imaging

Electronic image stabilisation (EIS) helps to deliver stable video when the camera is subject to vibrations. Axis corridor format is also supported, allowing users to vertically orientate the video stream to help maximise area coverage and reduce bandwidth when monitoring narrow scenes. In addition, digital pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) controls allow the operator to quickly view specific areas of the image in greater detail. The unit preserves image details in high-contrast scenes thanks to Forensic WDR technology, while Lightfinder technology enables the capture of full-colour images even in near darkness.

Video analytics

For reliable surveillance, the camera offers block view detection which informs users if the camera view is blocked by objects or spray paint. Configurable motion detection and tampering alarms help to enhance dynamic scene awareness by alerting users of incidents in real time.

Video management

The onboard MicroSD card slot (card not included) allows data to be stored locally for a handy backup. In addition, remote access is provided via the free Axis Companion Application. For more sophisticated video management, the unit can be integrated with Axis Camera Station and Milestone XProtect applications.

Installation

With support for PoE, this camera can receive power and network connectivity over one cable for cost-effective installation. The unit is also supplied with either a male RJ-45 or rugged M12 connector, allowing it to remain connected even when faced with bumps and vibrations.

Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
