Overview of the Axis T8504-R

This robust PoE ++ Gigabit switch by Axis features four 10/100/1000TX ports and web-based management. Designed for use in demanding environments when mounted inside a surveillance cabinet, this industrial switch also includes two SFP and two RJ45 ports. It offers a maximum PoE budget of 240W and features dual DC inputs for reliable power redundancy.

Delivering up to 60 watts per port, this switch also features an intuitive web-based interface which enables effective management of all connected Axis devices. Installation is simplified, thanks to a range of handy Axis tools such as Axis IP Utility and Axis Device Manager. A comprehensive set of configuration tools are also included, such as an integrated DHCP server for automatic assignment of IP addresses. In addition, the helpful graphic topology allows users to quickly obtain a simplified system overview.

This ruggedised switch also features surge protection and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C. When mounted inside the Axis T98A15-VE surveillance cabinet, this switch can be installed in demanding applications such as alongside highways and tunnels (please select from the dropdown menu above if required).
