The Morphean Cloud Security Platform is a feature-rich, easy-to-use CCTV solution, ideal for small installations or multi-site businesses such as retail, grid networks or logistics hubs. Morphean enables you to access your cameras via a single online account, regardless of where the cameras are located. Events are recorded and can trigger an instant alert to notify you of any security concerns. Easy search, playback and exporting of CCTV footage are standard features. You can choose to record in the cloud, on the camera using an SD card, or both. Morphean has a solid track record of uptime and data security. Technical and customer support is provided by us (NW) and is included in the monthly cost.

Functionality

No on-site recording devices are required for this system as the entire solution is hosted in the cloud. However, users can choose to record video locally on an SD card in the camera, or on a NAS, in addition to or instead of recording to the Morphean cloud. The system is extremely flexible in this respect, while the playback of footage is seamless through your online Morphean account, regardless of where the video footage is stored.

There is no limit to the number of cameras that can be connected to the platform, but local broadband availability must be considered when looking to connect a larger number of cameras installed in a single location. The platform is designed to process vast amounts of data to support secure video management with encrypted data and a high level of cyber security. System updates are automatic, giving you access to an ever-growing set of smart features and additional functionality, including video analytics to further improve your security and business intelligence.

In addition, this product’s base subscription includes updates and technical support to keep the system running safely and ensure there is little interruption to surveillance. Furthermore, users can choose to integrate analytics add-ons to the system to provide enhanced video management and storage via a single platform.

Subscription costs explained

The subscription model is kept simple.

Users pay a base cost of £7.50 per month per camera channel (ex VAT). This base cost includes the technical and user support provided by us (NW). You pay for one month only to get started and try the system. If you like it and wish to continue after the first month then the monthly cost will be billed quarterly in advance. There is no long-term contract tie-in, as we offer the Morphean Cloud subscription on a quarterly rolling basis. So, this means you can cancel within the first month or at any time thereafter, with the subscription simply terminating at the end of the billing period applicable at the time.

In addition to the base cost, you can add cloud recording by selecting your required video resolution and storage retention time from the dropdown menu. Be reminded that you do not necessarily need to use cloud recording, as you can also record on the camera using an SD card, or a NAS installed locally. In summary, with Morphean, your recording options are:

• Cloud recording only
• SD card recording only
• NAS (local) recording only
• Cloud and SD card recording (recommended and most popular)
• Cloud and NAS (local) recording

Set up and ongoing service

We will set up your Morphean Cloud account when you first sign up and add your Axis camera(s) to the Morphean system for you. We provide Morphean Cloud as a managed service and will set up the system the way you want it, and will provide recommendations to best suit your needs as part of this service. If you would like to make any changes to the system or add or remove any cameras, then we are here to help to do just that.
