This panoramic IP camera from Hikvision features four 2MP sensors that work together to provide 180° overviews in 8MP resolution at full frame rate. The unit also includes an integrated PTZ dome that enables the capture of clear 4MP close-ups, with powerful 40x optical zoom and 360° endless pan. Designed for 24-hour monitoring of outdoor locations, it features built-in IR LEDs which help to enhance night-vision at a distance of up to 150m. Additional features include edge storage (microSD card not included) and free remote access to live views and playbacks of recordings via Hikvision's free iVMS-4200 video management software.

A handful of imaging technologies are included and help to improve the quality of images captured in challenging lighting conditions. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology renders details evenly in strongly backlit scenes, ensuring objects and individuals can be identified clearly, while low-light images have less noise and require less bandwidth with 3D noise reduction. Support for audio in this unit is provided via a built-in microphone - enabling users to record audio within close proximity of the camera. A range of configurable video motion detection alarms help to enhance scene awareness and notify users of activity via notifications such as email; these alarms can also be set to trigger specific tasks such as starting the automatic target tracking function to ensure activity is followed and captured. In addition, alarm signalling can be enhanced through the connection of external devices via the unit's built-in I/O ports.
