Overview of the Hikvision DS-2CD2125FWD-IS-2.8mm

This affordable, Hikvision IP camera is capable of delivering 2 megapixel resolution at up to 30 frames per second (fps), complete with true day/night recording and built-in infrared (IR) illumination up to 30m, and built-in audio I/O ports. The camera's outdoor-ready housing is also IK10-rated, making it ideal for deployment in exposed locations. Users can easily install the unit using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and remotely access it via Hikvision's free iVMS-4200 video management software (VMS).

The unit is supplied with a 2.8mm fixed lens that offers a horizontal viewing angle of 108.4° whilst imaging technologies such as wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D noise reduction help to improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions. In addition, various video motion detection alarms can be configured to alert users of possible incidents in real-time. These detection alerts can also be set to trigger MicroSD card recording (card not included) and inform users of activity via email notification.
