Part of the Axis T934 wireless I/O Series, the T8342 can be installed across the opening of a door or window and will trigger an event to alert users if the door or window has been opened. The wireless unit is designed for use alongside the Axis M5065 IP camera, or when connected to Z-Wave Plus controllers this device provides a secure solution for monitoring physical access into premises.
This door / window sensor can be easily mounted onto a door, window or cabinet using the included mount and wireless I/O connectivity provides flexible deployment options as no cabling is required. The unit can then communicate wirelessly with the Axis M5065, automatically alerting the network camera to change its preset position if a door or window is opened. In addition, compatibility with other Z-Wave enabled devices allows different types of sensors to be integrated into a single system to help enhance security operations.
