Part of the popular Axis P32 series, this streamlined dome IP camera delivers high-quality HD 1080p resolution at up to 25 frames per second (fps) - 24-hours a day. The unit features an IK10-rated housing to provide robust protection in exposed indoor areas and its integrated infrared (IR) LEDs have an illumination range of up to 40m - enhancing night vision. This great all-rounder IP camera also includes Axis' 7th generation of ARTPEC chip, as well as a selection of advanced imaging technologies to support clear image capture in difficult lighting conditions. 

The varifocal lens offers angles of view between 36° - 100° and allows optimum scene coverage to be set during installation. Support for digital pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) viewing enables the user to examine the original image in detail – helpful for identification purposes. Additionally, areas of interest can be monitored closely using the multi-stream feature which enables two regions within the field of view to be cropped and streamed separately for live viewing or recording.

Forensic WDR ensures the capture of details in high-contrast scenes and Axis’ advanced Lightfinder 2.0 technology provides full colour viewing in ambient light extremes. In addition, Axis Corridor Format helps to maximise the area of interest in narrow scenes by vertically orientating the video stream.

External devices can be connected through the audio I/O ports to enable audio recording and two-way communication with those close to the camera. Configurable video motion detection alarms can be set to trigger MicroSD card recording (card not included) to ensure all motion is captured and also send alerts of activity to the user via email notification.

A range of handy features are included such as signed firmware and secure boot, which help to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the camera's firmware. Axis' Zipstream technology recognises when there is no movement in the scene and lowers image quality, resulting in an overall reduction in bandwidth and storage requirements. Installation is simplified by support for PoE, as well as remote zoom and focus which eliminates the need for hands-on fine-tuning.
