Overview of the Axis M3206-LVE
Part of the Axis M32-range, this compact IP camera delivers 4 megapixel resolution at full frame rate. The unit features an IK10-rated housing to provide robust protection in exposed outdoor areas and supports true day/night recording that is enhanced by integrated OptimisedIR illumination up to 20m. Additional features include an HDMI output for live streaming to an HD monitor, Axis Zipstream technology and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) support.
OptimisedIR technology ensures an evenly illuminated image by automatically adapting the angle of illumination to the zoom level set. Wide dynamic range (WDR) technology renders details evenly in strongly backlit scenes, ensuring easier identification of objects and individuals. Additionally, Axis Corridor Format technology is included to maximise the area of interest in narrow scenes by vertically orientating the video stream - preventing redundant areas from being recorded.
The free Axis Companion application can be easily installed and offers a simple video management solution for up to 16 cameras. The software allows users to record and playback video footage from the camera’s MicroSD card (not included) for an affordable, remote monitoring solution. Axis Companion Software is available as a PC client and mobile app for iOS and Android.
Camera-based video motion detection and tampering alarms can be configured to inform users of activity via a choice of notifications including email. These motion detection alarms can also be set to trigger MicroSD card recording when using the Axis Companion mobile app.
Axis Zipstream technology helps to lower bandwidth and storage levels by an average of up to 50%. It optimises the video stream in real-time, allowing important details to be retained while unnecessary data is removed. Additionally, PoE support delivers power and network connectivity to the camera over a single cable for cost-effective installation.
Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
