This affordably priced mini-dome IP camera by Axis delivers high-quality HD 1080p resolution at 25 frames per second (fps).
Its ultra compact design and 106° field of view provides unobtrusive monitoring of wide indoor scenes. Additional features include an HDMI output for live streaming to an HD monitor, Axis Zipstream technology and Power-over-Ethernet.
Images captured in high contrast scenes are improved with wide dynamic range technology. By ensuring details in both bright and dark areas are not lost, objects and individuals can be more easily identified. Additionally, Axis Corridor Format conserves bandwidth and ensures optimal viewing in narrow areas such as hallways and staircases. By vertically orientating the video stream, the technology is able to maximise the area of interest whilst preventing the recording of redundant areas.
The factory-focused lens saves time during installation and the camera's 3-axis mount design allows the user to easily adjust the lens to achieve an optimum angle of view during set up. Housed in a palm-sized vandal resistant casing, this mini-dome provides non-invasive surveillance in areas prone to tampering.
The camera features Axis' Zipstream technology which analyses the video in real-time and continuously optimises the stream. Details deemed more important are retained and unnecessary data is removed, lowering bandwidth and storage requirements by up to 50%.
Axis Companion Software is supported and provides an easy to use video management solution for up to 16 IP cameras – free of charge. The software allows users to record and playback video footage from the camera’s SD card (not included) for an affordable, remote monitoring solution. Axis Companion Software is available as a PC client and mobile app for iOS and Android.
Video motion detection and tampering alarms can be configured to help deliver reliable and accurate CCTV monitoring. When these alarms are triggered, the camera is able to send alerts to the user via a range of notifications including email. Also, motion detection events can trigger recording using the Axis Companion mobile application.
Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
