Part of the attractively priced M11 range from Axis, this outdoor-ready CS mount IP camera delivers clear 5MP resolution video at up to 25 frames per second (fps). Its robust IP66 and IK10-rated housing offers protection in exposed areas and with a varifocal lens offering horizontal viewing angles of up to 112&deg, this camera is ideal for wide outdoor scenes. Additional features include Lightfinder, Forensic Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology and on-board MicroSD storage (card not included). Remote access is also possible via the free Axis Companion mobile application.

Camera

The high-quality camera features a varifocal lens which provides horizontal viewing angles up to 112° and allows optimum scene coverage to be set during installation. It also includes a CS-mount lens – enabling users to easily exchange lenses to best suit their monitoring needs (alternative lenses not included). With true day/night recording, this unit is able to capture reliable security footage 24 hours a day and video can be further enhanced with audio recording through the connection of an external microphone (not included).

Imaging

Forensic WDR technology optimises video by lowering noise levels and increasing the image signal to ensure details are visible in both dark and bright areas. In addition, the camera has the ability to deliver full colour video in extreme low-light conditions using Axis’ Lightfinder technology. Digital pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) controls also allow the user to examine specific areas of the original image in greater detail – particularly useful when trying to identify persons or objects.

Video analytics

Various video motion detection methods can be configured to enhance dynamic scene awareness and deliver reliable security monitoring. Additional analytics applications from Axis or third-party developers can also be installed via the Axis Camera Application Platform (ACAP), such as virtual tripwire, loitering alarm and many other intrusion detection applications.

Video management

Installation of the Axis Companion mobile application provides simple video management for up to 16 IP cameras. This free software enables users to record and playback video footage from the camera’s MicroSD card (not included) for an affordable and easy-to-use CCTV monitoring solution. For further functionality, this camera can also be easily integrated into other high-performance video management systems such as Axis Camera Station and Milestone XProtect. The unit also supports storage to network attached devices (NAS) for recording to any retention period.

Installation

With support for PoE, this camera is able to receive power and network connectivity over one cable for simple, cost-effective installation. This high-quality unit is also equipped with an Axis T94Q01A wall mount – offering flexible mounting options to users.

Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
