Overview of the QNAP VS-2104 PRO+ VioStor NVR
The QNAP VS-2104 PRO+ VioStor is an IP network video recorder with the capability of recording footage from up to four IP cameras connected via the internet or a Local Area Network. Using a web browser, users can easily monitor, record and playback footage from any location.
With additional QNAP servers, the maximum number of cameras connectable can be up to 120. A storage capacity of 8TB is provided by two hot-swap bays, while all recorded data is backed up via a RAID migration system. Data backup onto USB drives is also possible with a one-touch backup button.
With direct HDMI video output, and keyboard/mouse USB ports (sold separately), this video recorder can also function as a standalone unit. The embedded Linux operating system ensures stability and offers protection against malware.
