The Sony IPELA SNC-RX550P network camera is a high-end speed dome with pan-tilt-zoom featuring endless 360 degree rotation, 26x optical zoom and intelligent functionalities such as motion detection, object detection and image anti-tampering. This IP camera combines very high image quality with dual encoding (JPEG and MPEG-4), selectable compression formats (JPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264), privacy zone masking and automatic day/night switching. The Sony SNC-RX550P incorporates Dynamic Frame Integration optimising the resolution for both stationary and moving subjects, providing higher sensitivity than progressive scan. Furthermore, this camera includes two-way audio, an analogue video output for local monitoring and can be configured wirelessly using the optional SNCA-CFW1 wireless card. The Sony IPELA SNC-RX550P produces 25 images per second at 640x480 VGA and operates in light conditions down to 1 lux in colour and 0.15 lux in black and white. Like all IP cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.co.uk, the Sony SNC-RX550P has a built-in webserver and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet.

• Intelligent Object Detection - Any object which is not moved for over 40 seconds can be detected as an "unattended object". This function can also detect an object which has been removed from a scene
• Anti Tamper Function - Digital signature that proves that a picture is original and that is was generated from a specific camera
• Dynamic Frame Integration provides very high sensitivity (better than progressive scan)
• Privacy Zone Masking - Allows masking of unwanted or prohibited areas within the camera's view to protect privacy
• Image Stabiliser - Minimises the appearance of shaky images caused by low-frequency vibration so that stable and sharp images are provided
• Pre- and post alarm image storage on removable media such as ATA memory cards when motion is triggered
• Notification via e-mail with image attachment (JPEG) when an alarm event is triggered
• Images can be sent to a remote server using FTP when an alarm event is triggered (JPEG only)
• Network security is provided by IP filtering password protection
• Camera can operate wirelessly by using the optional Sony SNCA-CFW1 wireless card (PC card adaptor required) and, if required, the range extending Sony SNC1-AN1 antenna
