The Axis 211M is a high quality 1.3 megapixel static network camera ideal for professional video surveillance and monitoring. With its 1.3 megapixel resolution and progressive scan technology, the camera can deliver clear and detailed images with no distortion, perfect for facial recognition and the identification of objects. The camera displays a maximum image size of 1280x1024 at a speed of up to 30fps (MJPEG at 800x600). 2-Way audio support allows the viewer to listen in to sounds in the camera's location (using the built-in microphone) as well as issue instructions to people or intruders in the vicinity. The camera has built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE) support which reduces the cost and simplifies installation while also allowing the camera to be placed in unconventional areas where there wouldn’t normally be any power outlets. Like all IP cameras, the Axis 211M has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet.
