The Axis 215 is a compact pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) network camera offering 360° video surveillance with a tamper-proof body, suitable for a wide range of security applications. The camera features automatic day/night switching, providing perfect colour images when there is sufficient light and high quality black and white images in low light conditions. E-Flip and Auto-Flip functions produce a 360° pan-tilt mechanism ensuring that a moving target can be followed successfully and eliminating any blind spots. The camera can display images up to a resolution of 704x576 (4CIF PAL) at a speed of up to 30 frames per second across all resolutions and with a 12x optical zoom, distant objects can be easily monitored in detail. Advanced features include image transfer by email or to an FTP server based on alarms triggered by the camera. Alarms can be scheduled or triggered by motion detection, sensor input or audio detection (with an external microphone). Like all IP cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.co.uk the Axis 215 has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet.
