The Panasonic i-Pro WV-NW964 is a high performance camera delivering superb image quality for 24/7 CCTV surveillance. This i-Pro camera comes packed with intelligent features designed to improve the effectiveness of your security solution. The WV-NW964 is a 360° dome camera which comes in an IP66 rated enclosure meaning it can be mounted outdoors without concern over rain or dust penetrating the camera. The WV-NW964 also comes with a 30x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom which, when combined, can offer up to 300x zoom allowing monitoring of distant objects in great detail.

The WV-NW964 employs a 1/4 inch progressive scan CCD sensor which provides sharp, crisp images even for scenes with fast moving objects. In addition to this the camera will work in light conditions as low as 0.5 lux in colour mode and thanks to a automatic switching IR filter, will produce a black and white image as low as 0.04 lux making the camera ideal for outdoor security applications where low light capability is a necessity. The WV-NW964 also comes complete with full-duplex, 2-way audio support allowing you to connect a microphone and speaker (not supplied) and use the camera to communicate with people on site.

The dynamic range of the camera is 128x which means that the camera will provide a good quality image in high contrast lighting conditions. Since cameras such as this are often pole mounted, the WV-NW964 also employs a software image stabilisation system which automatically adjusts for movement expected from pole mounted cameras in high winds.

In addition to these features, should the camera be placed in areas where vandalism or tampering is a possibility, the WV-NW964 includes Scene Change Detection. This will detect if the dome is covered, spray-painted or if the lens defocuses and will raise an email to alert an operator. In addition to this, the camera includes an auto-tracking function which will, whenever movement is detected, follow the moving object automatically. Once movement has ceased the camera can be programmed to resume its previous position or guard tour.

The camera also includes powerful alarm management functions which will allow the transfer of images by email or FTP based on alarm triggers by external sensor inputs, motion detection or a timed schedule.
