Overview of the Veracity VAD-PPW Pinpoint Wireless
This Pinpoint Wireless tool by Veracity helps to simplify the installation of PoE-compliant IP cameras by adding a wireless link near the camera, allowing connection to a mobile device or laptop.
Ideal for IP CCTV installers, this palm-sized tool provides a wireless access point which allows live video from an IP camera to be displayed on a smartphone, tablet or laptop. Once connected, the camera image can be easily viewed allowing precise adjustment of camera alignment, focus and field of view during installation. Installers can perform these image adjustments and camera configurations using either a browser or the free CAMPOINT mobile app which is available for Android and iOS devices.
This handy tool is connected directly to an IP camera and is powered by Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) - therefore requiring no additional power source or battery. The unit's helpful RJ45 connectors allow for quick and straightforward connection to a network camera and as soon as the configuration is completed, the Pinpoint Wireless tool can be easily disconnected.
