Overview of the Veracity Outreach Max XT outdoor Ethernet / PoE extender

The Veracity Outreach Max VOR-ORM-XT outdoor extender allows for the expansion of network cabling beyond the 100m limitation whilst also extending PoE, making it ideal for scenarios where cameras may need to be positioned far apart from the PoE midspan. The device is IP66-rated with grommets on each end to protect it from water entering the device during wet weather conditions.

PoE forwarding provides cameras with network connectivity as well as power, removing the need for localised power. The extender itself is powered using Power over Ethernet, eliminating the need for an external power supply.
