The Arecont D4F-AV5115DN is a 5 megapixel IP security camera capably of producing 14 images per second at full resolution. Designed with a tough, unobtrusive acrylic housing the camera is suitable for in-ceiling mount within for example retail environments or financial institutions.

The camera is suited to areas with changing light conditions, with a switchable infrared-cut filter produces conventional colour and infrared-sensitive monochrome video at night. Additionally, the camera includes features designed to improve light sensitivity, such as Moonlight mode which slows shutter speeds to capture more light and Pixel Binning which combines light data from multiple pixels.

The camera is PSIA-compliant, improving compatibility with devices such as network video recorders, giving more flexibility when it comes to system design. Power over Ethernet can also be used to provide power and data using just one cat5 cable, helping to simplify wiring.
