The Mobotix D24M-IT-D22 is a fixed dome network camera suitable for both indoor and outdoor security applications. The Mobotix D24M-IT is a complete and independent surveillance solution which includes an integrated DVR (Digital Video Recorder) to record to a MicroSD card (4GB card included) or direct to storage server with no additional software. Replacement for the Mobotix D22M-IT the D24M-IT delivers faster imaging and processing speeds.

Mobotix cameras are designed around a decentralised concept with all recording and processing done at the edge (in the camera itself) as opposed to a centralised system where cameras stream footage to a centralised point for processing and recording. The advantage of a decentralised approach is the system is more reliable with each camera able to operate independently and a computer is only required to setup the camera and view footage.

All software from Mobotix is free and does not require a licence making Mobotix a cost effective solution for both domestic security and professional large scale CCTV systems. Like all IP cameras available from Network Webcams, the Mobotix D24M-IT IP security camera has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
