Key differences of Milestone XP Basis+ V6.0 against V4.0:

• Smart Client 3.0: The latest version includes an image server which enables connectivity to remote clients. This means that the monitoring, viewing and playback of images can be done easily from a remote machine. Login information may be customised per user with various different levels of permission.
• Recording server service: The application can now be run purely as a Windows service without a user interface. Useful for those who would like to record but don’t require people to sit and monitor, saving the machine’s processing power.
• Audit Logging: You can now trace client user activity by time, locations and cameras as well as any evidence exported by user and file.
• Run in the background: You can now set up a number of cameras in the application in the background. These will continue to record as per their settings without being available in the monitor view.
• Multiple CPU capability: This version of Milestone Basis+ can now take advantage of computers with multiple processors increasing system performance.
• Microsoft Windows Accounts: Remote access privileges can be based on Microsoft Windows User account authentication or Group membership authorisation.
